The Intergroup Dialogue Leadership Series: Tools for Leading Through Division
In today's divided and changing world, strong dialogue skills aren't just helpful - they're essential.
Whether you're leading a team, working with diverse communities, or navigating conflict, being able to listen, reflect, and understand others makes you a more effective leader. This interactive series introduces Leadership Omaha alumni to the proven Intergroup Dialogue model, developed and tested by faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and adapted to prepare Omaha's leaders for deeper connection, stronger teams, and lasting cultural transformation.
In this five-part series, participants will:
Leave with actionable strategies to lead with integrity, listen with empathy, and foster inclusive spaces in a divided world.
This series will be facilitated by Dr. Herb L. Thompson III, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Communication at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and Manasi Kate, Leadership Development Intern at the Greater Omaha Chamber.

Dates: This is a five-part series. Participation in all five session is required to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Registration: Free for Leadership Omaha alumni. This is a pilot program with limited spots available. Registration closes Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
