Time: 9:00 – 10:00 AM
Location: Quantum Qool | 1111 North13th Street Ste 307. Omaha, NE 68102
This quarter, the Manufacturing Council is spotlighting Quantum Qool, an Omaha-based deeptech startup redefining what’s possible in advanced manufacturing.
Quantum Qool has developed a patented ultrafast laser surface structuring technology that fundamentally enhances the performance of metals and alloys like copper, aluminum, nickel, graphite, and silicon carbide. Integrated into the company’s breakthrough Q2 Laser Station, this innovation increases material emissivity and dramatically improves power and heat management—unlocking new potential for climate tech, defense, and space applications.
Council members will hear directly from Quantum Qool’s leadership about their journey from research to commercial breakthrough, the challenges of pioneering in deeptech, and how they are attracting top talent to scale in Omaha. The session will feature a 15–20 minute presentation followed by Q&A. Alec Gorynski, SVP of Economic Development at the Greater Omaha Chamber will also share news about the Chamber's work to revise and add state incentives particularly relevant to the manufacturing industry.
In addition to the program, attendees will have dedicated time to connect and exchange insights with fellow council members, making this an excellent opportunity to learn, share, and build valuable relationships within Omaha’s manufacturing community.
