To celebrate the grand opening of its newest location at 4625 North 90th Street in Omaha, Russell Speeder’s Car Wash will host the first-ever Russell Speeder’s Touch-a-Car Contest on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. The participant who keeps their hand on the car the longest will receive a Lifetime Membership to Russell Speeder’s. Russell Speeder’s is proud to partner with Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS). The vehicle will be donated to a veteran in need through the Wounded Warriors Family Support Mobility is Freedom program. Russell Speeder’s also will hold a fundraising drive for Wounded Warriors Family Support during its Grand Opening Washtacular festivities and pledges to match the total of all customer donations. WWFS is a nonprofit dedicated to helping combat-wounded veterans and families of veterans wounded, injured or killed in action.

The contest is part of an epic three-day Washtacular where the festivities begin Sunday, Nov. 20 with the Grand Opening Kick-Off Party at 3 p.m., a family friendly and community engagement event featuring a bounce house, food trucks, a D.J. and giveaways.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony begins at 4 p.m. The Touch-a-Car contest winner will be recognized and a donation check will be presented to Wounded Warriors Family Support.

Russell Speeder’s, which first opened in Omaha close to 50 years ago, operates the cleanest, fastest car washes in the region.
