The Tangier Shrine Center is proud to announce a major step forward in making our building more accessible to all. After a year of planning, fundraising, and construction, we are excited to invite the community to the official unveiling of our brand-new elevator and stairwell on Thursday, August 22, 2025.

This special event marks a significant milestone in our mission to create a more inclusive environment for every guest, member, and visitor. The new elevator and stairwell were designed with accessibility, safety, and ease of use in mind—ensuring that everyone, regardless of mobility, can comfortably access every part of the Shrine Center.

Please join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and guided tours of the new installation. It’s our way of saying thank you to the donors, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this vision a reality—and a celebration of what it means to build a space that truly welcomes all.
