The Executive Team at Sylvan Learning’s office is looking for a full-time Director of Education at our Bellevue location. This is a quickly growing team, so this role may have the opportunity to grow in to a full-time role for the right candidate. The candidate selected will play a key part in the success of growing the center and enriching the lives of many students and families. Some of the responsibilities would include fielding inquiries regarding our programs, assessing students, welcoming families to the center, managing student programs, school visits, meeting with families monthly and managing teaching staff. 

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's Degree or higher with an emphasis in Education • Has enough professional experience that they don’t wonder if they have enough experience to apply • Ability to support a main departmental administrative role • Gets upset when excuses are given • Gets stuff DONE! • Sets a goal then takes action to conquer it! • Extremely organized and detail oriented • Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done • Believes in having fun • Is always learning, growing, and being stretched • Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves • Knows how to work a PC and iPad • Can get around with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point) • Bachelor's Degree or higher • Is a naturally gifted communicator • Works hard but also like to have F.U.N. while getting things done! Be prepared to bring your personality with you all day, every day. 

Salary Expectations - $16-$20/hour This job includes evenings and Saturday mornings with Fridays off.
