OCI is pleased to announce that construction of its new insurance and employee benefits headquarters is complete and the company officially opened its doors at the new location on October 11th. Located at 4221 North 203rd Street, the 65,000 square foot, 3-story building will be the first multi-tenant Class A office structure in the Elkhorn area. In addition, the building will boast a number of high-end features, including covered parking and a top-floor deck overlooking the Indian Creek golf course, allowing employees, clients, and tenants to enjoy a relaxed space for meetings and entertaining.

OCI’s 56 employees will occupy the second floor and a portion of the third, as the company is expected to double its workforce in the next four years. The decision to construct a new building was driven by increased demands from insurance agents and by a need to expand in the areas of health, life and other insurance products.  

“We are excited about the growth we’ve experienced but even more optimistic about the future,” said OCI President Charles Olson II.

“Indian Creek One is proud of the work done by MCL, Carlson West Povondra Architects and all the people who helped build this beautiful addition to the Elkhorn community,” OCI and Indian Creek One CEO Chuck Olson said.

Also moving into OCI’s building will be the largest independent mutual fund service provider, Ultimus Fund Solutions (Ultimus). The new and more modern office space offered by OCI provides Ultimus opportune space for its Omaha operations group, plus room to grow. Ultimus employs over 750 professionals in the financial services industry. The company is headquartered in Cincinnati and has offices in New York, Chicago, Denver and Columbus, in addition to Omaha.

“We are excited to have found the space in OCI’s beautiful new building with its great view of Indian Creek Golf Course and the surrounding area. It will provide an excellent, open office space and room for us as we scale our operations,” commented Gary Tenkman, CEO of Ultimus. 

Ultimus plans to complete the move of its approximately 155-person Omaha operations to the new location in January 2020. 

A ribbon cutting for the new building will be held in early 2020.
