Farris Engineering Team Enhances Expertise and Community Support at NFPA Conference
In June, Farris Engineering proudly sent a team of three dedicated fire protection engineers to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida. This prestigious event, renowned for its focus on cutting-edge fire protection technologies and best practices, offered the team invaluable insights and learning opportunities. The conference provided a platform for engaging with industry leaders and experts, fostering connections that will enhance Farris Engineering’s approach to fire safety.
In addition to their professional development, the team participated in a heartwarming community service initiative. They spent part of their time stuffing and assembling comfort bears, which were subsequently donated to fire departments in Orange and Seminole counties. These comfort bears are instrumental in soothing traumatized children during emergencies and supporting older adults with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Farris Engineering’s commitment extends beyond technical excellence; it embodies a deep dedication to community support and well-being. This charitable activity highlights their holistic approach to fire protection, combining advanced knowledge with compassionate outreach.
