A Breath of Fresh Air for Jefferson Lines Passengers
As a company that has prioritized safety from the start (winning our first safety award in 1939…Woot! Woot!), we want our passengers to know that their health and safety remain our top priority. Earlier this year, we unveiled Jefferson Clean, our company-wide commitment to the health and safety of our passengers. Jefferson Clean is made of three main elements which enhance existing cleaning procedures and continue the precautions which have allowed our customers to travel in clean, affordable comfort from the start:
1. Purification. New in-bus air filtration systems utilize bipolar ionization to drastically reduce airborne respiratory irritants, bacteria, and viruses (like COVID-19) from the air. These systems, which were installed in all Jefferson motorcoaches in April, replace fresh air every ten minutes and filter cabin air every two minutes, completely overhauling traditional in-bus air standards. Air quality readings now put our buses on par with hospital emergency rooms.
2. Electrostatic Sanitation. Our electrostatic sprayers release high-grade EPA disinfectant that is statically-charged to fully wrap around an object and cover its entire surface.
3. CDC Guidelines. We continue to stay up-to-date with state and federal health mandates and implement them across our buses and offices.
As always, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and modify our COVID response to make sure our passengers can travel safely and confidently at all times.
