Not since School House Rock has learning about Government been this fun.

Meet up with Lincoln and Omaha young professionals for some democracy in action! YP Day at the Capitol will be focused on giving you some foundational information about political parties, the function of local government, and the history of the capitol.

Agenda

6:00 a.m. | Arrive at Westroads Mall for Shuttle (outside Von Maur)

6:15 a.m. | Depart for Lincoln

7:30 a.m. | Networking at Lincoln Chamber of Commerce

8:00 – 9:30 a.m. | Programming

• Political Parties
• Civic Nebraska
• Voter Information

10:00 – 11:30 a.m. | Tour of Capitol including a stop in Governor Ricketts' office

12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Lunch & Learn at Lincoln Chamber of Commerce

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Depart for Omaha
