VIRTUAL EVENT: Candidate Academy for Aspiring Candidates of Color

Description

A diverse representation within government will lead to better public policies that include the voices of all people within a community. It can bring new perspectives, skills, and ideas to the table and ultimately create a more efficient, inclusive, and innovative elective leadership.

This program provides foundational information for individuals interested in running for office and potential connections for on-going support through their campaigns and careers.

In the "We Will" statement by CEOs for CODE, business leaders said they would use their influence to endorse and support policy that leads to racial/social justice. Our hope is to support leaders that have an interest in proposing such policy.
