The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will host the 38th annual Government-Business Forum on August 14, 2019, the first time in the Midwest! The Forum, held at Creighton University, will provide a platform to highlight perceived impediments to capital formation, culminating in recommendations to improve the environment for small businesses. 

Participants in the Forum typically include small business leaders, investors in emerging businesses, government officials, trade association representatives, lawyers, accountants, academics and small business advocates. In recent years, the format of the Forum typically has emphasized small interactive breakout groups developing recommendations for governmental action.

Entrepreneurship Education Collaborative

To better serve our members, we have collaborated with a group of synergistic organizations to form the Entrepreneurship Education Collaborative (EEC). The Greater Omaha Chamber, Nebraska Business Development Center, Nebraska Enterprise Fund, SCORE and the Small Business Administration Region VII have joined together to offer quarterly programing and help promote other educational opportunities to better serve area small businesses.
