Program Details:

• Dates: January 9, 2025 - March 20, 2025
• Class Schedule: Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Registration Deadline: January 3rd, 2025

Program Overview: The REACH Program, a strategic initiative of the Greater Omaha Chamber, is dedicated to empowering small and emerging businesses (SEBs) with education, technical assistance, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Since 2015, REACH has supported over 500 businesses, enabling them to grow revenue, expand their workforce, and secure valuable contracts. This course continues that mission by focusing on the critical needs of construction industry professionals who are ready to take their businesses further.

Program Details for the REACH 10-Week Construction Industry Certificate:

• Comprehensive Training: A structured 10-week course designed to cover advanced and essential topics for construction industry leaders.
• Core Focus Areas: In-depth instruction on bonding, estimates and bidding, accounting, and other critical skills needed to manage and scale a construction business.
• Skill Development: Equipping business owners and managers with the technical and strategic skills to effectively manage and grow their companies.

Course Requirements:

• Location: Eligible businesses must be based in the Greater Omaha metro area (Douglas, Sarpy, or Washington Counties).
• Industry: Open to construction-related businesses, including general contractors, subcontractors, cleaning construction companies, landscaping construction businesses, suppliers, and more.
• Experience: For small business owners or subcontractors actively working in the construction field.

• Commitment to Growth: Applicants should have a clear commitment to enhancing their business practices.
• Attendance: Participants must attend 9 out of 10 classes to benefit fully from the program.

Tuition and Scholarships:
The course fee is $350, payable at registration. Scholarships may be available through the Career Readiness to Eliminate Disparities (CRED) program, funded by the City of Omaha’s Community Services Program. If awarded, you will be reimbursed the full tuition.

Note: Scholarships are not guaranteed and are available for businesses in Douglas, Washington, or Sarpy Counties.

Primary Location and Course Sites:
Classes will primarily be held at the Greater Omaha Chamber, located at 808 Conagra Drive, Suite 400, Omaha, NE 68102. However, some sessions will take place at different construction sites and other locations to offer hands-on experiences. Detailed address information for these additional sites will be provided after registration.
