Omaha Executive Immersion 2027

Registration for the 2027 cohort opens Friday, August 21, 2026.

Omaha Executive Immersion is a curated experience designed for senior executives — and their partners — who are new to Omaha or stepping into new leadership roles. Across three immersive sessions and a series of neighborhood explorations, participants gain meaningful access to Omaha’s civic and business leaders, discover the people and places shaping the region, and build the connections that help them feel rooted, welcomed, and ready to lead.

Who Should Participate
Senior executives (CEO/President, C-Suite, SVP, VP, Nonprofit Executive Director, Academic Chancellor or Dean) - and their spouses or partners - who are new to Omaha and want to fast-track their connection to Omaha's people, culture, and civic life while building a trusted network of peers and community leaders.

Tuesday, January 26, 2027 | 3:00-6:00 pm | Kickoff at the Greater Omaha Chamber Annual Meeting
Join Omaha’s top business and civic leaders for one of the Chamber’s signature annual gatherings. Participants receive VIP access and personalized introductions to help them immediately feel woven into the region’s leadership fabric. It’s the perfect launch into the Immersion experience.

Thursday, March 11, 2027 | 5:30-8:00 pm | Session 1 - Omaha 101: History, Character, & Civic DNA
Step into Omaha’s story and discover the forces that shaped the city’s identity, values, and civic culture. This session offers an insider’s look at how decisions get made, who influences what, and where newcomers can plug in with confidence. It’s the perfect launch point for feeling grounded and connected.

Thursday, April 8, 2027 | 5:30-8:00 pm | Optional Exploration - Benson After Hours
Discover one of Omaha’s most eclectic neighborhoods through a curated walk of its food, drink, and creative hotspots. This relaxed evening offers a chance to soak in local culture while forming deeper connections with fellow participants. It’s Omaha at its quirkiest and most charming.

Thursday, May 13, 2027 | 5:30-8:00 pm | Session 2 - Business, Economy, & Innovation: Omaha's Growth Landscape
Explore the people, industries, and ideas driving Omaha’s economic momentum. This session offers an insider’s look at how the region grows, collaborates, and competes — from legacy institutions to emerging innovators. You’ll leave with clarity about the landscape, the players, and where your work fits into the broader story of Omaha’s growth.

Thursday, June 24, 2027 | 5:30-8:00 pm | Optional Exploration - Summer at the Stadium: An Evening at the College World Series
Experience the College World Series like an insider with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look. Participants will meet the leaders who bring Omaha’s biggest event to life, explore what it takes to host a national championship, and enjoy time together at the stadium during one of the city’s most celebrated traditions.

Thursday, July 8, 2027 | 5:30-8:00 pm | Session 3 - Quality of Life & Leadership in Community
Get a holistic understanding of what makes Omaha thrive — from education and healthcare to arts, culture, and the nonprofit organizations that strengthen the fabric of our community. This session helps participants identify where their passions meet community needs and highlights pathways for meaningful civic engagement.

Wednesday, August 18, 2027 | 6:00-9:00 pm | Closing Celebration at the Omaha Business Hall of Fame
End the program with a night honoring Omaha’s most influential business leaders and visionaries. This elegant celebration offers a meaningful moment of reflection, connection, and recognition — and solidifies participants’ place within the broader Omaha leadership landscape.

Tuition

• Single Ticket: $2,500 per executive
• Couple Ticket: $4,500 per couple (executive & spouse/partner)

Registration is due by 11:59 pm on Monday, January 18, 2027. No refunds for cancellations will be granted after this time.
