The Business Owners & Entrepreneurs Roundtable is a bimonthly gathering for leaders of small and emerging businesses who are ready to accelerate growth and overcome obstacles together. This confidential peer network will provide the accountability, fresh perspectives, and practical solutions you need to take your business to the next level.

Growth Strategy & Scaling Challenges - Growing your business sounds great in theory, but the reality is messy. How do you scale without losing quality or burning out your team? When do you hire, expand, or pivot? We'll share real experiences in sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and building systems that actually support expansion rather than create more headaches. Let's talk about the growth challenges nobody warns you about.

Financial Management & Capital Decisions - Cash flow, funding options, investment decisions - financial management can keep you up at night. We'll dive into practical strategies for managing money, planning for the unexpected, and making smart capital decisions. Through open discussions with fellow business owners, you'll gain insights into everything from daily cash management to long-term financial planning that positions your business for stability and growth.

Leadership Development & Team Building - As your business grows, your leadership skills need to evolve too. How do you attract and keep great people? How do you build a culture that works? What happens when you realize you need to level up your own leadership game? We'll explore the human side of business growth, sharing experiences in talent development, succession planning, and creating organizations where people actually want to work.

Who Should Join:
Owners, presidents, or CEOs of small and emerging businesses who are actively leading their organization’s growth, strategy, and operations. This roundtable is designed for those at the top of their organization — regardless of official title — who are navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of building and scaling a business.


Facilitator: 


Candice Price is a business leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate dedicated to driving economic growth and equity across Nebraska. Originally from South Florida, she moved to Omaha in 2009 and has since become a trailblazer in business and civic leadership. Candice is the owner of Home Team Auto Sales and Sapphire Grill and was the first person of color appointed to the Nebraska Independent Auto Dealers Association Board. In 2025, she received Nebraska’s highest civic honor—Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska.

Her leadership spans numerous boards and initiatives, including the Greater Omaha Chamber, Nebraska Diplomats, Omaha Economic Development Council, Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty (Vice President), Omaha 100, Omaha Inland Port Authority, and Family Housing Advisory Services (Immediate Past President). She is also a member of Leadership Nebraska (Class 16), the Aksarben Floor Committee, and Creighton’s REACH Advisory Committee.

Nationally, Candice contributes to the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association Leadership and Bylaws Committees and the Buy Here Pay Here United Dealer Advisory Board. She is a licensed real estate broker, CNA, and graduate of the University of Oklahoma. A former Union Pacific executive, she is now a developer with Spark’s coDA program. Candice is passionate about supporting small businesses and shaping inclusive economic policy.

Candice is honored to serve her community and looks forward to leveraging her experience to advance Nebraska’s economic development and business community.
