Employer Coalition (POWER Series) - A Bad Romance: What Organizations Miss in Aligning the Employment Brand and the Employee Value Proposition
Monday, January 12, 2026 (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM) (CST)
Description
This interactive session explores the often-overlooked disconnect between how organizations present themselves to potential talent (employment brand) and what they actually deliver to employees once hired (employee value proposition or EVP). When these elements are misaligned, it results in disengagement, high turnover, and reputational damage—what we call "a bad romance." Participants will learn how to audit their brand promise, refine their EVP, and realign messaging with the lived employee experience. This workshop is ideal for HR leaders, talent acquisition professionals, and employer brand managers seeking to build authentic, trust-based employee relationships.
