Join us for a transformative BIPOC Retreat designed to create a space of healing, connection, and empowerment for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to step away from daily routines and immerse yourself in an environment that celebrates diversity and fosters personal growth.
Participants will engage in group discussions and exercises, all crafted to honor our unique experiences. Our expert facilitators will lead sessions on mental wellness, self-care, and resilience, providing practical tools to navigate life's complexities.

Johnny Nesbit
Johnny Nesbit, a proud North Omaha native, has dedicated his life to empowering his community. His deep-rooted sense of community engagement, instilled by his parents, has driven his extensive work with numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Urban League of Nebraska Young Professionals, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Urban Financial Services Coalition, and the Great Plains Black History Museum.
Balancing his roles as a devoted family man and community mentor, Johnny's professional journey led him to the FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha), where he has thrived for 17 years. Currently serving as the Community and Employee Involvement Manager, he is also a diversity and inclusion board member and co-host of FNBO's Cashology YouTube series, promoting financial literacy.
Johnny's passion for financial education and his ability to simplify complex financial concepts have made him a respected advocate for financial independence. His tireless efforts continue to uplift North Omaha, making him a true champion of his community.
Alicia Caldwell

For two decades as a licensed therapist, I have equipped professionals and organizations in high-stress industries with evidence-based strategies to reduce stress, enhance mental endurance, and sustain peak performance while fostering healthy, resilient relationships.
My mental fitness strategies are grounded in a holistic framework, addressing the mind, body, spirit, and relationships for a well-rounded approach to success.
Dell Nared Jr.
In 2021, Dell joined the Greater Omaha Chambers of Commerce and is now the Chief Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Officer. The CODE initiatives have benefited over 5,000 individuals through their programming, offering over 175+ hours of educational training and benefiting over 500 organizations.
Dell is also a co-owner of Meraki Montessori Toys and a co-founder of Melanin Market Omaha with his phenomenal wife, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community empowerment.
Maris Kingfisher
Maris Kingfisher (they/she) is a dedicated DEI and workforce professional with 15 years of experience in human services, higher education, and workforce development.
Maris holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership, as well as certifications in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and yoga.
As a Queer FilAm, they bring a unique perspective to fostering inclusive workforce systems, promoting equity, and decolonizing your mind.
Andrea Joy Pearson
Andrea Joy Pearson is a nationally recognized Belonging and Inclusion strategist, Speaker, and Host who is committed to helping herself and others walk in their power and utilize their space to live more full and successful lives. As a culture and experience specialist, she combines her expertise in user experience design with a unique approach to fostering belonging in individuals, teams, and communities. She is a healer who uses sound to champion honesty, vulnerability, and courage to foster high performance in work and life by reframing possibilities and perceived boundaries.
As the founder of Joy Brings Light, Andrea Joy advocates for the cultivation of spaces where everyone feels they have the opportunity to bring their best and most authentic selves to the table. She specializes in Leadership and Community Development, Experience Design, Sound and Meditation facilitation, and Motivational Speaking.
