Join us for a transformative BIPOC Retreat designed to create a space of healing, connection, and empowerment for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to step away from daily routines and immerse yourself in an environment that celebrates diversity and fosters personal growth.

Participants will engage in group discussions and exercises, all crafted to honor our unique experiences. Our expert facilitators will lead sessions on mental wellness, self-care, and resilience, providing practical tools to navigate life's complexities.

Johnny Nesbit

Johnny Nesbit, a proud North Omaha native, has dedicated his life to empowering his community. His deep-rooted sense of community engagement, instilled by his parents, has driven his extensive work with numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Urban League of Nebraska Young Professionals, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Urban Financial Services Coalition, and the Great Plains Black History Museum.

Balancing his roles as a devoted family man and community mentor, Johnny's professional journey led him to the FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha), where he has thrived for 17 years. Currently serving as the Community and Employee Involvement Manager, he is also a diversity and inclusion board member and co-host of FNBO's Cashology YouTube series, promoting financial literacy.

Johnny's passion for financial education and his ability to simplify complex financial concepts have made him a respected advocate for financial independence. His tireless efforts continue to uplift North Omaha, making him a true champion of his community.


Dell Nared Jr.

Dell Nared Jr. is a dynamic leader from North Omaha. A standout at Omaha North High School, he excelled in academics, sports, and community service, earning the prestigious Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarship. This enabled him to become the first college graduate in his family at Texas Christian University, where he majored in Psychology and minored in Business.

At TCU, Dell became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. After graduation, he returned to Omaha to give back to a community that gave so much to him as the Associate Director for Access, Inclusion, and Diversity at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln he was responsible for ensuring scholars had access to opportunities to get them to and through college. 

In 2021, Dell joined the Greater Omaha Chambers of Commerce and is now the Chief Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Officer. The CODE initiatives have benefited over 5,000 individuals through their programming, offering over 175+ hours of educational training and benefiting over 500 organizations.

Dell is also a co-owner of Meraki Montessori Toys and a co-founder of Melanin Market Omaha with his phenomenal wife, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community empowerment.
