The GPBHM features and commemorates the historical and cultural achievements with a special focus to preserve and celebrate the contributions of people of African ancestry of the Great Plains of the United States, as well as people of African descent from around the world. We strive to be a world renowned history museum with outstanding collections and research used to produce innovative exhibits and offer a place that represents education for all.
