About

Clarkson College of Health Professions has prepared students for professional careers in healthcare for 137 years. As a teaching-focused college, we offer nine academic programs and a full menu of professional development course certifications for the public (such as - BLS, Basic Life Support).

Our academic programs include: Nursing, Healthcare Business, Health Information Management, Education and Leadership, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Medical Imaging, Community Health (including pre-health professions such as Pre-Med, Pre-PT, etc.,) as well as Psychology and our General Studies program.

We are the hospital-affiliated college to Nebraska Medicine and are proud to collaborate with twelve community partnerships including Boys Town, Children's Nebraska, Makovicka PT, The YMCA, Mutual of Omaha, and FNBO, to name a few.

Our student body consists of nearly 1,200 students (split between on-campus and online students,) reaching across the country from Maine to California, down to Texas and Florida.

Students tell us they chose Clarkson College because of our reputation for quality teaching - so by graduation they are prepared for their first job or in an advanced role. We are proud that students and employees volunteer 12,000+ hours of service each year.

Students also tell us they appreciate the small class sizes. Our students pass their boards consistently above state and national averages. In fact, we publish our institutional outcomes on our website. Today, we graduate approximately 350 healthcare professionals annually.

Come and visit! Our campus is located at 42nd and Dodge Streets in the vibrant Blackstone neighborhood.
