Counseling & Mental Health
With over 10 years of experience as a male mental health professional in the Omaha Metro area, I bring a broad clinical and leadership background to my professional services work. My experience spans residential treatment, outpatient care, and private practice, as well as leadership roles as a clinical director and clinical supervisor. This foundation allows me to provide thoughtful, ethical, and transparent guidance to clinicians and organizations.
I have supervised more than 20 provisionally licensed therapists across both urban and rural areas of Nebraska and previously served as an adjunct professor in the graduate Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Nebraska–Omaha. My work in supervision and education is grounded in evidence-based practice, professional development, and fostering clinical confidence and competence.
As a clinical director, I have developed a strong understanding of private practice operations, ethical decision-making, and systems that prioritize both quality care and clinician sustainability. My professional services are informed by this leadership experience and are designed to support clinicians in delivering effective, client-centered treatment.
My clinical training includes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These frameworks inform my approach to consultation and supervision, ensuring support that is practical, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with best practice standards.
I value honesty and transparency, and I’m confident that together we can find clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward a more balanced life.
