The Long-term Care Ombudsman office, through the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging is looking for volunteers (age 21+)  to advocate for residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  Our volunteers help protect resident's rights, well-being, and quality of life.  Twenty hours of training is provided.  Once you complete your training, we ask a two hour a week commitment, which you can do anytime that fits your schedule.
