Chase launches 7^th location in Omaha-Council Bluffs region as bank expansion continues 

Branch employees speak seven languages

OMAHA – Aug. 4, 2023 – On Thursday, Chase marked the opening of its seventh branch in the Omaha-Council Bluffs region with a new branch in Lakeside at 17340 W. Center Road, Omaha. Chase is expanding in the region and has already created about 80 jobs. The first Omaha branch opened at Aksarben Village in October 2020.

The new full-service Chase branch features the latest digital technology offering customers convenience with a team of employees fluent in seven languages: English, Spanish, Turkish, Tagalog, Portuguese, Lebanese and Vietnamese.

“I live in this neighborhood and this community is most important to me,” said Branch Manager Pinar Thielen. “Many of our employees are bilingual which speaks to the diversity of our team and helps us provide the best financial services to the community. We want our clients to know that they’re heard, valued and we will work hard every day to earn their business.”

Chase’s expansion into Omaha is part of the firm’s plan, announced in early 2019, to open branches in numerous new U.S. markets, including Nebraska. In December 2019, Chase also opened a branch at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. Chase now has branches in all 48 contiguous U.S. states.

“Since we opened our first Chase branch in Nebraska in 2020, clients have been waiting for us to come to this fast-growing community in west Omaha,” said Majda Hadzic, market director of banking in Nebraska who is also overseeing Chase’s expansion in the region. “We’re excited to bring jobs and economic growth to the community.”

Chase employees are committed to giving back to the community and the new branch team recently participated in the Alcorn Community Days Parade and the Omaha Pride Parade. They’ve also volunteered at the Stephen Center.
