In this interactive session led by Amy Bodenner, we'll explore the five most common listening traps leaders fall into: defending, dismissing, judging, jumping to conclusions, and turning the conversation back to ourselves, as well as how these habits quietly erode trust and impact. But we won't stop at theory. This session will be filled with real-life application, breakout moments, and even an envelope game (audience participation encouraged!) that reveals just how often we miss the mark, and how easy it is to course correct. Attendees will walk away with practical tools to: Strengthen relationships with colleagues, clients, and teams. Navigate conflict with clarity and composure. Create psychological safety through presence and empathy.  Ask better questions and reduce workplace misunderstandings. Whether you're leading a team, collaborating cross-functionally, or building client relationships, the ability to listen like a leader is a competitive edge. It's one that can be sharpened in this session, because when we change the way we listen, we change the way we lead.
